Posted on December 4, 2012 in Uncategorized by jvelazquez

Hi Majestics,

The history department has put together a wonderful learning experience for our 8th graders this quarter, we are going to see the movie Lincoln! Every eligible 8th grade student will be walking down to the Canyon Country Regal Theatre for a private screening of the Steven Spielberg Movie, Lincoln on December 19th. Parent letters and field trip forms have gone home with students 12/4 and we need them returned as soon as possible. Students who do not meet the eligibilty requirements will stay at school to work on completing assignments needed to improve their grade. The history department is excited to be able to offer this field trip free of charge! In addition, our Majestic students will be treated to a pizza lunch upon our return. Please see the link to the movie trailer below and email me if you have any questions.

You will also have an opportunity to create a bill in class and work on a committee to get it adopted and put on the mock election ballot. It is your responsibility to make sure you are fulfilling each of the requirements to this project. See me in class if you have questions.
